Welcome! My name is Lisa Borges and I am a Certified School Social Worker at Lyndhurst High School. I serve as a liason between parents and students and school faculty. My job is to advocate for our children and to be a voice for them when needed. I enjoy very much working with students to help them live a socially and emotionally healthy life. I work closely with school professionals to ensure that the needs of our students are being met both on an academic and emotional level. As the school social worker, I serve as a link between families and community resources. I am also a facilitator of the Grief Group at Lyndhurst High School for students that have experienced a loss of an immediate family member.
I am graduate from the College of New Jersey with Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Pre-Social Work. I received my Master in Social Work from Kean University. I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey as well as a Certified School Social Worker.
